Position: Children’s Support Worker

Salary: £31,279 to £33,705 (Including sleep-ins)
Hours: Long day shifts and sleep-in duties
Type: Full-time, permanent role

Your role: Children’s Support Worker
As a key member of the team, you will:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and well-being of children with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Participate in weekends away, holidays, and trips to create memorable experiences
- Support children in their weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking!
- Protect children’s health and welfare by adhering to care plans and safety guidelines
- Offer emotional and practical support to help children develop confidence and resilience
- Minimise challenging incidents through proactive behaviour management
What we’re looking for in you:
- A genuine desire to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- An empathetic, caring, and resilient personality
- Some experience in social care or supporting children and young people (personal or professional)
- The right to work in the UK
- Valid driving licence (essential)
- Relevant qualifications are a plus!
- Must be over 21
