Children's Residential Support Worker – Oxfordshire

Supporting young people aged 8-18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours, this role offers a rewarding career path in a dynamic and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and foster independence tailored to their age
- Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the residential home
- Manage challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children at all times
- Support young people in their personal development and well-being
- Uphold safety procedures and work in line with care plans, guidelines, and communication methods
- Collaborate with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals, such as psychologists
Essential Requirements:
- Full driving license and personal vehicle (sleep allowance included)
- Over 21 years of age
- Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact
- Experience in a social care or healthcare setting is desirable
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable)
- Willing to commute to Middle Barton, Oxfordshire
