Salary: £31,980 - £35,880 (including sleeps) | Permanent, full-time

Job Description:

A leading specialist provider in residential care is seeking motivated Support Workers to join their modern semi-independent home in Crediton. This enriching role involves supporting children and young people aged 8-16 who experience Emotional & Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote independence: Encourage residents to take responsibility and engage in activities that foster their growth.

• Support well-being: Provide emotional and practical support to enhance residents’ independence and happiness.
• Build relationships: Collaborate with staff, families, social workers, and professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

What We're Looking For:

• Compassionate individuals eager to start or grow a career in health and social care.
• Prior experience in children’s residential support or working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude.

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence: As transportation of residents is necessary.
• Age: Applicants must be over 21 years old.
• Location: Reliable commuting ability to Crediton.
