Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people aged 8-18 in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills in a safe, caring environment
- Create a welcoming, homely atmosphere within the residential setting
- Manage challenging behaviours safely, sympathetically, and effectively
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
- Promote independence and well-being through personalised support plans
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to care plans, guidelines, and reward systems
- Build strong relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and professionals such as psychologists
- Facilitate engaging activities and encourage responsibility appropriate to age

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in residential or social care settings (desirable)
- Healthcare or social care experience is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license for transportation purposes
- Age over 21 years
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People preferred
- Ability to commute to Bromyard
