Join a leading specialist provider as a Children’s Support Worker in a vibrant residential care setting in Crawley. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care and support for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
What your role involves:
- Supporting children and young people in their daily activities, personal interests, and developmental goals
- Promoting independence, well-being, and emotional resilience
- Attending weekend trips, holidays, and special outings with the children
- Supporting children in engaging activities such as climbing, baking, or adventurous trips
- Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to care plans and health and safety guidelines
- Providing emotional and practical support to build trust and confidence
- Protecting children from risks to their health and welfare
- Assisting in behaviour management and incident minimisation
Shift patterns & working hours:
- Long day shifts and sleep-in duties
- Full-time, permanent position
