Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people? Join a leading specialist provider as a Children’s Support Worker in a vibrant residential care setting in Crawley. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care and support for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

What your role involves:

  • Supporting children and young people in their daily activities, personal interests, and developmental goals
  • Promoting independence, well-being, and emotional resilience
  • Attending weekend trips, holidays, and special outings with the children
  • Supporting children in engaging activities such as climbing, baking, or adventurous trips
  • Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to care plans and health and safety guidelines
  • Providing emotional and practical support to build trust and confidence
  • Protecting children from risks to their health and welfare
  • Assisting in behaviour management and incident minimisation

Shift patterns & working hours:

  • Long day shifts and sleep-in duties
  • Full-time, permanent position
