Children's Support Worker
Coity | Competitive pay (£14.24 - £28.48 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay) | Shift work: 7am - 7pm, 7pm - 7am

Our client, a specialist provider, is seeking compassionate and resilient Children's Support Workers to join their residential services and help young people thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities, interests, and personal development
- Attend trips, weekends away, holidays, and organise weekend activities such as climbing or baking
- Promote independence and overall wellbeing of the young people
- Maintain safety and follow care plans and guidelines to protect their health and welfare
- Provide emotional and practical support, handling challenging behaviour with patience and professionalism
- Support young people's participation in activities and community outings
Essential Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
- A valid UK Driving Licence
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
- Restraint trained (TMVA certificate) or willingness to undertake a 3-day restraint course
- Ability to obtain or hold a current Enhanced DBS checked on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
Desirable:
- Experience in leading activities and behaviour management
