Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Tonyrefil, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (DOE)

Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers to join their residential services in Tonyrefil. Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
• Promote independence and wellbeing of young residents
• Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s social development
• Participate in evening and weekend activities, from climbing to baking or trips to leisure venues
• Protect children from health and safety risks, ensuring their welfare at all times
• Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
• Support behaviour management and minimise challenging incidents

Requirements:

• Genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or within a social care setting
• Restraint training certification (TMVA) or willingness to undertake a 3-day course
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
