Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and overall wellbeing of the children
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s social activities
- Participate in weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking or trips to leisure centres
- Protect children from health and safety risks, ensuring their welfare at all times
- Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
- Support behaviour management strategies to minimise challenging incidents
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children or within a social care setting
- Restraint training certification (TMVA) or willingness to undertake a 3-day course
- Valid UK driving licence
- Current Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
