Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Coity, Wales
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Job Description:

A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers to join their residential services in Coity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with children and young people, supporting their development, wellbeing, and independence within a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and emotional wellbeing of young residents
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s social activities
- Participate in weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking or trips to leisure destinations
- Protect children from risks to their health and welfare
- Provide emotional and practical support within the home
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
- Support children in managing challenging behaviour and minimise incidents
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- At least 6 months’ experience working with children or within a social care setting
- Restraint training (TMVA) or willingness to undergo a 3-day course
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
