Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Tonyrefil, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (DOE)

A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers to join their residential services in Tonyrefil. Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
• Promote independence and overall wellbeing of the children
• Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s interests and development
• Provide emotional and practical support to young people within the home
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children by adhering to care plans and guidelines
• Support behaviour management and minimise incidents of challenging behaviour
• Assist with activities ranging from outdoor adventures to creative pursuits like baking and arts

Requirements:

• At least 6 months’ experience working with children or within a social care setting
• Empathy, caring nature, and resilience
• Restraint training certification (or willingness to undergo a 3-day restraint course)
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
