Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Porthcawl, Wales
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and overall wellbeing of the young residents
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips to support children’s social development
- Participate in weekend and evening activities, from climbing to baking or trips to leisure parks
- Protect children from health and safety risks, ensuring their welfare at all times
- Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual care plans
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care guidelines and safety procedures
- Support behaviour management strategies to minimise challenging incidents
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or in a similar social care setting
- Restraint training certification (TMVA) or willingness to undergo training
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
