Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours in a residential setting
- Follow, update, and manage individual care plans
- Work collaboratively with support workers, seniors, deputies, and the registered manager
- Ensure all support provided complies with OFSTED and organisational standards
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people
- Participate in shift patterns on a 3-week rolling rota, including sleep shifts
Requirements:
- Experience working in a children’s residential setting is desirable but not essential
- A driving licence is desirable but not essential
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the UK is essential
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality care
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow care plans
This Children's Support Worker role in Derby offers a full-time, permanent contract with a set shift pattern. The role pays £13.50 per hour plus an additional £63 per sleep shift, with total annual earnings of approximately £32,005.56.
