Job Title: Children's Support Worker – Bridgend
Location: Bridgend, Wales
Salary: £14.50 - £29.00 per hour (DOE)

A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Children's Support Worker to join their team in Bridgend. Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children
- Support and promote the independence and wellbeing of young people
- Attend weekend and evening activities to support children’s interests, from climbing to baking or trips to Butlins
- Maintain a safe environment by understanding and following care plans and guidelines
- Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour and minimise incidents
- Support children in participating in social activities and outings
- Attend training courses, including restraint training (or be willing to undertake the 3-day course)
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- At least 6 months’ experience working with children or in a social care setting
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- TMVA - Restraint Training Certificate (or willingness to undertake training)
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
