Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Bridgend, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.50 - £29 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children
- Support and promote the independence and wellbeing of young people
- Attend weekend and evening activities to support children’s interests, from climbing to baking or trips to Butlins
- Provide emotional and practical support within the home environment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour and minimise incidents
- Support children in participating in social activities and outings
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children and young people at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or in a social care setting
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Restraint trained or willing to undergo a 3-day restraint training course
- Valid UK driving licence
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Restraint training certification (TMVA) preferred
- Right to work in the UK
