Job Title: Children's Support Worker – Cardiff

Location: Cardiff, Wales

Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team in Cardiff on a temp-to-perm basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
• Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with children and young people
• Support and promote independence and wellbeing of young people
• Provide emotional and practical support within the care environment
• Assist in managing behaviour and minimise incidents through positive intervention
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
• Support children during activities such as climbing, baking, and outings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or in a social care setting
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
• Restraint trained or willing to undertake a 3-day restraint training course (TMVA)
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
