Are you a dedicated and passionate Classroom Assistant seeking a rewarding role in Wirral? We are working with a leading specialist provider to find motivated and flexible classroom assistants for various assignments across primary schools in the Wirral area. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and supervising educational activities, including games, sports, and crafts
- Assisting children with reading and literacy activities
- Preparing classrooms for lessons and activities
- Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including children with additional needs
- Helping to create displays of children's work
- Supporting teachers with classroom management and behaviour
- Supervising children during trips and outdoor activities
- Listening to children read, telling stories, and encouraging their learning
Requirements:
- At least 3 months of experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar settings
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Passion for supporting children's development and education
