About the Role:
Vetro is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our education service. You’ll play a crucial role in planning, preparing, and serving nutritious and delicious meals for our young people, ensuring all food service operations meet both regulatory and Vetro's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver all aspects of meal preparation and cooking with attention to dietary and nutritional requirements.

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals while supervising catering support staff.

• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards in line with Vetro's Assured Safe Catering policies.

• Manage stock ordering and rotation to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.

• Design varied, nutritious menus tailored to the needs of our young people.

• Monitor and manage the catering budget to ensure cost-effective, high-quality food service.

What You’ll Need:

• Level 3 training and an Intermediate Food Safety Certificate.

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen preparing and cooking meals.

• Strong understanding of food safety, dietary needs, and menu planning.
