As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils in Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classroom behaviour for pupils in secondary schools across Cardiff
- Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during lessons
- Assist with the implementation of educational programmes and support pupils with special educational needs
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment conducive to learning
- Adapt to different school environments and support various age groups
Requirements:
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or in the care sector
- Genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development
- Open to training and professional development opportunities
- Proactive work ethic and a patient, understanding attitude
- Good understanding of special educational needs (SEN)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work across secondary schools in Cardiff
