Salary: £120 per day minimum

Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor in Caerphilly. This role involves supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and 4 within secondary schools, providing essential support to ensure smooth classroom operations and student engagement. Key Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

• Supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher across various subjects.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and maintaining student focus.
• Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Supporting and assisting students to promote a positive learning environment.
• Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all students.
• Reporting on student progress and behaviour to the regular teacher.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you will need:

• A degree-level qualification.
• Relevant experience in classroom supervision, tutoring, or lecturing (3 months minimum).
• Proven behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain discipline.
• Strong organisational skills and adaptability.
• A valid UK driver’s licence (desirable but not essential).
• Commitment to safeguarding and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
