Location: Cwmbran, Torfaen, South Wales

Salary: Minimum £120 per day minimum

Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We are seeking enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisors to support vibrant secondary schools across Cwmbran and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:
As a Secondary Cover Supervisor based in Cwmbran, your daily duties will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a variety of subjects.
• Creating a dynamic, structured, and safe environment where students can thrive.
• Applying positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
• Offering encouragement and support to help students achieve their daily goals.
• Leaving detailed handover notes to ensure smooth transitions for teachers returning to the classroom.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will need:

• A Degree or relevant experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, coaching, youth work, or teaching assistant experience).
• Confidence to lead classrooms, manage discipline, and inspire students.
• An adaptable, proactive, and positive mindset.
• Willingness to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• A valid UK driver’s licence (desirable, as it opens up more local opportunities).
