Salary: £120 per day minimum

Employment Type: Temporary - Part-time - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting young people's education and development? We are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team across Monmouthshire. This role offers flexible, ongoing work within vibrant secondary schools, providing an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4 classes, helping to create a safe, structured, and engaging environment. You will support teachers by delivering pre-planned lessons and assisting students with their learning, all while fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to educational success.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor based in Monmouth your daily duties will include:

• Supervising and managing classroom behaviour for pupils in secondary schools across Monmouthshire.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting pupils with classroom activities.
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and welfare of students during lessons.
• Assisting with the implementation of educational programmes and supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN/SEN).
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment conducive to learning.
• Adapting quickly to different school environments and supporting various age groups across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you will need:

• 3 months experience (paid or voluntary) working with children, young people, or within the care/coaching sector.
• A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development.
• Openness to training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• A proactive work ethic alongside a patient, encouraging, and understanding attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school support team.
• Flexibility to work across secondary schools in the Monmouthshire area.
