Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join a leading specialist provider in Rhondda, Wales. This role offers flexible working opportunities across secondary schools in the area, making it ideal for individuals looking to start or develop a career in education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will support pupils' learning and well-being, contributing positively to their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor based in Rhondda, your daily duties will include:

Supervising students in Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
Supporting teachers with classroom management and behaviour.
Assisting pupils with their learning activities and providing support where needed.
Maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere and following school policies to promote safety for all pupils.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you will need:

A keen interest in working with children and young people.
Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children and/or in the care sector.
An open mind to training and development opportunities.
A proactive work ethic and positive attitude.
Good understanding of special educational needs.
Patience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
