Vetro Recruitment are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in a school setting in Wirral, Merseyside.
This is a temporary role (approx. 40 hours per week) supporting continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences and maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise pupils completing pre-set work during teacher absence
- Deliver clear instructions and ensure students stay on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Report back to teaching staff on progress and any issues arising
- Liaise with relevant staff to clarify work and support where needed
Requirements
- Experience working with children/young people (school, education, care or similar)
- Confident classroom/behaviour management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
