Vetro Recruitment is excited to be working with schools in Port Talbot, seeking dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in the day-to-day running of a school, ensuring continuity of learning and a safe, structured classroom environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervising pupils during lessons, managing behaviour effectively to ensure students remain on task and engaged with the pre-set work.

• Employing strong classroom management techniques to maintain a calm and focused atmosphere.

• Fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.

• Assisting pupils with their work and answering questions where appropriate, without acting as a subject teacher.

• Following school policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of all students.

• Providing feedback on classroom activities to the regular class teacher.

Who We're Looking For:

• An individual with proven experience in a classroom or similar educational setting.

• A professional with excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport and command respect from pupils.

• An adaptable and resilient individual who can think on their feet and handle unexpected situations with confidence.

• A proactive approach to ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.

Details & Benefits:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (flexible depending on school needs)

• Pay Rate: £100 per day

• Location: Port Talbot
