About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during lessons, managing behaviour effectively to ensure students remain on task and engaged with the pre-set work. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere in the absence of the regular teacher. Whether you're looking for one day a week, a full five-day schedule, or ad-hoc shifts, we can tailor work requirements to suit your needs and lifestyle. Key Requirements:

To be considered for this vital role, you will need:

• Proven experience in a classroom or similar educational setting.

• A professional with excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

• An adaptable and resilient individual who can think on their feet and handle unexpected situations with confidence.

• A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport and command respect from pupils.

• A proactive approach to ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification (desirable, but not always essential for Cover Supervisor roles).

• Flexibility and willingness to cover subjects outside of your specialism when required.

• A fully enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) – we can assist with obtaining a new one if needed.

• References covering the last two years with no unexplained gaps.

• The Right to Work in the UK.
