You will be part of a regional leadership network of seven homes, where you will be encouraged to bring your unique skills and influence change. We are committed to a "language that cares" and a bespoke therapeutic model of care designed to help both staff and children thrive.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leadership: Act as an integral part of the regional management team, supporting the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the new home.

  • Service Development: Play an active role in shaping and evolving the home's therapeutic approach and the implementation of our "language that cares" philosophy.

  • Team Growth: Support, mentor, and coach the staff team to ensure every member is the "best version of themselves."

  • Management Transition: Take on additional responsibilities to build the confidence to manage the home in the Registered Manager's absence.

  • Operational Oversight: Assist with the management of budgets, staff rotas, and ensuring the service remains compliant with all regulatory standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home, specifically at a Senior or Deputy level.

  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.

  • Technical Skills: Practical experience managing budgets and staff rotas.

  • Licence: A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Benefits and Career Progression

  • Path to Leadership: We invest heavily in your growth, providing clear paths to advance to Registered Manager positions and fully funding your Level 5 qualifications.

  • Family & Wellbeing: Enhanced company maternity/paternity pay, NEST Pension, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

  • Training: Fully paid induction and sector-leading training programmes.

  • Annual Leave: 28 days, including Bank Holiday entitlement.
