Salary: From £33,664 per annum + £62.64 per sleep-in Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week (Mix of long shifts and admin days)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Leadership: Act as an integral part of the home's leadership team, providing stability and creative solutions to drive service improvement.

Operational Oversight: Assist with the management of budgets, staff rotas, and the daily administration of the home.

Staff Development: Mentor and support the team to be "the best versions of themselves," fostering a culture where both staff and children thrive.

Management Cover: Take on additional responsibilities to gain the confidence and skills required to manage the home in the Registered Manager's absence.
Essential Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home at a Senior or Deputy level.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.

Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.

Licence: A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Skills: Practical experience with staff rotas, budgets, and team leadership.
