Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver exceptional care in the children’s residential home in Peterborough.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and exceeding key performance indicators.
- Support the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safeguarding policies and legislation.
- Collaborate with external agencies and families to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure staff are trained and supported to deliver high-quality care.
- Manage resources efficiently to meet the needs of the home and its residents.
Requirements:
- Diploma Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience within a children’s home.
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Computer literate and highly organised with excellent multitasking abilities.
