Job Description
We are recruiting a Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential care service in Flint, Flintshire. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role, supporting the wider care team to deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred care and strong day-to-day standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager based in Flint, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting shift leadership on the floor, acting as an accessible point of guidance for senior and care staff
- Monitoring care quality in real time, coaching best practice and addressing standards promptly
- Supervising and developing senior care staff and supporting performance/accountability across shifts
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Deputy Manager, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven leadership experience within an older people’s care/dementia care environment
- Enhanced DBS Check (and the right to work in the UK)
