Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join a supportive, values-led care provider in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. You’ll help oversee day-to-day operations across residential/respite services supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, ensuring consistently high standards of care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager based in Barry, your daily duties will include:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of support workers to deliver consistently high-quality, person-centred support
• Working closely with the Service Manager to maintain safe, compliant, and well-run services (including participating in an on-call rota)
• Supporting individuals 1:1 to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes, including within challenging behaviour environments where required

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Deputy Manager, you will need:

• QCF Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care (with willingness/ability to work towards Level 4)
• Experience supporting adults in residential and/or respite settings (learning disabilities and/or complex needs)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to working across multiple services)
