Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the children’s home in Wrexham
- Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver outstanding care
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Contribute to the development and implementation of personalised care plans
- Assist in managing budgets, rotas, and resource allocation
- Promote a therapeutic and nurturing environment for children and young people
- Support staff training and development, including funded qualifications
- Play an active role in shaping the service’s approach and policies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a residential children’s home, at Senior or Deputy level
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Knowledge of CIW regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Experience with budgets and staff rotas
- Strong leadership and communication skills
