Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or a senior Children's Residential Support Worker/Team Leader seeking to advance your career? Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the home manager to ensure smooth operation of the service and support staff development
- Supervise and motivate junior staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Maintain the highest standards of care to meet the physical, emotional, and behavioural needs of children and young people
- Contribute to the development and implementation of placement plans and risk assessments
- Facilitate engaging daily activities, including community outings, social clubs, and independence initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Services (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker
- Full UK Driving Licence for transporting young people
- Over 21 years of age
- Commitment to achieving or having achieved Level 5 qualification in Children & Young People’s Services
