About the Role
We are recruiting a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home in Abergavenny, currently supporting three young people with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs arising from adverse childhood experiences.
You will play a key role in:

Supporting and deputising for the Registered Manager

Leading, mentoring and developing the staff team

Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance

Creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment

Supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
Working Pattern
-
2 sleep-ins in a row, followed by 3 days off

Essential Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a children’s residential setting

QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent)

Experience as a Senior, Team Leader or Deputy Manager

Open to Seniors ready to step up

Full UK manual driving licence
-
Own vehicle (company vehicle available for work use)

Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care and regulations
