Salary: Up to £42,906 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a leading specialist provider in the children’s residential care sector. Based in Abergavenny, the Deputy Manager will play a vital role in supporting the leadership of a well-established children’s residential home. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the children’s residential home
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Residential Support Workers
- Ensure compliance with CIW regulations and maintain high standards of care
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
- Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Step into the manager’s role in their absence, ensuring smooth running of the home
Requirements:
- Experience working in a children’s residential home setting
- Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager
- Level 3 Health and Social Care CYP Qualification
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (desirable or willingness to work towards)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
