Your Impact as Deputy Manager:

Working hand-in-hand with the home manager, you'll be key to the smooth running of the service and the success of our dedicated staff team. This includes:

  • Empowering and supervising junior staff to foster a cohesive environment.
  • Championing the highest standards of care to meet young people's diverse physical, behavioural, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborating on vital placement and risk management plans.
  • Facilitating engaging daily activities, from community outings and clubs to promoting independence and positive social interactions.

What You'll Bring:

  • An ESSENTIAL NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Services (or equivalent).
  • ESSENTIAL experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior in a Children’s Residential Support Work environment.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence (for transporting young people).
  • You must be over the age of 21.
  • A commitment to working towards or having already achieved your Level 5 qualification.
