Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker/Team Leader seeking a rewarding career opportunity? Join a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care in a nurturing 3-bed home located in Paignton. This pivotal role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people by delivering high-quality care and fostering positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the residential service.
Supervise, mentor, and empower junior staff to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Champion the highest standards of care, addressing the diverse physical, emotional, and behavioral needs of children and young people.
Develop and review placement and risk management plans to ensure safety and well-being.
Coordinate and facilitate engaging daily activities, including community outings, social clubs, and independence-building initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

Essential: NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Services (or equivalent).
Essential: Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker within children’s residential care.
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence (for transporting young people).
Age over 21 years.
Commitment to achieving or having already attained your Level 5 qualification in children’s residential services.
