Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager in a leading specialist provider of health and social care services. Based in Barry, the Deputy Manager will oversee two services supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Key Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Manager in Barry, your daily duties will include:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring support staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Supporting 1-1 sessions and promoting positive well-being and independence among service users.
• Working alongside the service manager to maintain high standards of support and compliance.
• Participating in an on-call system to ensure continuous service delivery.
• Supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs within residential and respite settings.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive environment that respects individual differences and encourages growth.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Deputy Manager, you will need:

• QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to work towards QCF Level 4.
• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a similar setting.
• Proficiency with electronic systems and processing programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to communicate effectively.
• A positive outlook with a supportive, compassionate approach.
• Ability to motivate others and promote continuous improvement.
• A valid driver’s licence, as the role involves working across two services.
