An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager in a residential care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care.
- Support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs to promote independence and well-being.
- Work alongside the service manager to maintain high standards of support and service delivery.
- Participate in an on-call system to ensure continuous support.
- Support the implementation of person-centred care plans and promote positive behaviour strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to work towards QCF Level 4.
- Experience working within residential or respite settings supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- Proficiency with electronic systems and Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with team members and service users.
- Positive, compassionate, and people-centric approach to care.
- Ability to motivate and support a team, fostering a positive working environment.
- Driver essential, as the role involves working across two services.
