Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. This role involves working across two of our services, The Willows and The Ivy, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within residential and respite settings. You will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of care and promoting positive well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Manager based in Barry, your daily duties will include:

• Working alongside the service manager and staff to ensure high-quality support tailored to individual needs
• Leading, coaching, and mentoring support workers to deliver person-centred care
• Supporting individuals with 1-1 support and promoting independence and positive well-being
• Participating in an on-call system to ensure continuous service delivery
• Working within residential and respite settings, often with adults who have learning disabilities and/or complex needs

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Deputy Manager, you will need:

• A QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care
• Willingness to work towards QCF Level 4 in Health and Social Care
• Experience working in a similar setting, supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex needs
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and a Full UK Driving Licence
• Proficiency with electronic systems and processing programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
