Job Title: Deputy Manager – Supported Living

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join a leading specialist provider supporting adults, young people, and children with complex needs across Gloucestershire and the West Midlands. The Deputy Manager role in supported living offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by leading a compassionate, high-quality team committed to person-centred care. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the support team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
- Ensure high standards of support and compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
- Coach and mentor staff to foster a culture of care, inclusion, and respect.
- Work closely with the Manager to develop and implement service improvements.
- Actively participate in supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and promote independence.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment that reflects the organisation’s values.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or in a similar leadership role within a regulated setting.
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver outstanding support for people with complex needs.
- Strong commitment to person-centred support, dignity, and respect.
- Hands-on, approachable leadership style with the ability to motivate others.
- Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it (Level 3 with ambition).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
- Reliable, flexible, and positive attitude.
