Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to join a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care. This Children’s Home Registered Manager role in Wolverhampton offers the chance to oversee a 2-bed EBD home and a solo home for children and young people with complex needs. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage day-to-day operations, support staff and young people, and contribute to the organisation’s expansion plans. This Children’s Home Registered Manager position in Wolverhampton is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking a rewarding leadership role within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold OFSTED registration and ensure compliance with all standards
- Manage and support staff teams within the service
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
- Deliver therapeutic care and support tailored to individual needs
- Maintain the safety, efficiency, and quality of the service
- Oversee staffing, recruitment, and staff development
- Ensure the service meets all OFSTED standards and regulations
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children’s Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services
- Proven experience as a Children’s Home Registered Manager
- Experience working with children and young people with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Ability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively
