Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to join a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care. This Children’s Home Registered Manager role in Wolverhampton offers the chance to oversee a 2-bed EBD home and a solo home for children and young people with complex needs. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage day-to-day operations, support staff and young people, and contribute to the organisation’s expansion plans. This Children’s Home Registered Manager position in Wolverhampton is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking a rewarding leadership role within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold OFSTED registration and ensure compliance with all standards
  • Manage and support staff teams within the service
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
  • Deliver therapeutic care and support tailored to individual needs
  • Maintain the safety, efficiency, and quality of the service
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, and staff development
  • Ensure the service meets all OFSTED standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children’s Services)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services
  • Proven experience as a Children’s Home Registered Manager
  • Experience working with children and young people with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively
