Job Overview
Are you an experienced and compassionate leader in the children’s care sector with a passion for making a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated Dual-Registered Home Manager to lead two specialized solo placements in Ipswich.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to manage high-intensity, bespoke care environments designed specifically for individual young people. You will be responsible for creating a therapeutic, child-centred atmosphere where young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) can truly flourish.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

Dual Management: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of two solo placements, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for each young person.

Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to specific needs to promote meaningful, positive outcomes.

Compliance: Ensure both settings remain in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and all statutory requirements.

Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a dedicated staff team to deliver outstanding, consistent care.

Environment: Create and maintain a positive, therapeutic environment that focuses on the individual's growth and recovery.
Essential Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential care setting.

Specialism: Previous experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Leadership Style: Strong leadership skills with a child-centred, outcomes-focused approach.

Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Quality Standards, and the inspection process.

Skills: Superior communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
