Are you an experienced and compassionate leader in children’s care services with a passion for making a meaningful difference? We are seeking a dedicated Dual-Registered Children’s Services Manager to oversee two specialized solo placements in Ipswich. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-intensity, bespoke care environments designed specifically for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a therapeutic, child-centred atmosphere where young people can thrive and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of two solo placements, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each young person’s needs.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements across both settings.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a dedicated staff team to deliver outstanding, consistent care.
- Create and maintain a positive, therapeutic environment focused on growth and recovery for young people.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential care setting.
- Previous experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Strong leadership skills with a child-centred, outcomes-focused approach.
- Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Quality Standards, and inspection processes.
- Superior communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
