Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom of GCSE learners, fostering a positive and productive environment
- Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum
- Deliver engaging lessons in both classroom and lab-based settings
- Use effective behaviour management strategies in accordance with school policies
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions may apply for NQTs)
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available to assist with registration
- Valid references covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
