Key Responsibilities:
As a Teacher of English based in Liverpool, your daily duties will include:
- Implementing and delivering a broad, balanced, and ambitious English curriculum for students of all abilities.
- Supporting the planning and resourcing of the English department to enhance student engagement and attainment.
- Providing quality first teaching, including planning, modelling, and scaffolding to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND.
- Monitoring and supporting the progress and development of students, ensuring they reach their individual potential.
- Contributing to the school's ethos by fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teacher of English, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- An enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
