Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school team in the Wirral. Key Responsibilities:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant based in the Wirral, your daily duties will include:
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver high-quality support with teaching and learning activities
- Supporting children on a 1:1 or group basis to ensure they reach their full potential
- Assisting with organising and accompanying children on educational trips and outings
- Supporting assessment activities and evidencing children’s progress
- Contributing to the creation of stimulating classroom displays and learning resources
- Maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all children
- Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within EYFS
- Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and eligibility to work in the UK
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A compassionate, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting young learners
