Job Description:
Are you an experienced and passionate leader in children’s services, ready to take ownership of a vital family assessment centre? We are working with a leading specialist provider dedicated to safeguarding and supporting children and families. They are seeking a highly motivated Registered Manager to oversee all aspects of their Family Assessment Centre in Stafford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, communicate, and implement the service’s Statement of Purpose, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Provide strong leadership to motivate, supervise, and coach the staff team, including recruitment, induction, and ongoing professional development.
- Drive clinical excellence by establishing development plans that promote high-quality, clinically informed practice, safeguarding the rights and well-being of children and young people.
- Act as the main liaison with regulatory bodies, maintain registration with relevant authorities, and manage inspections and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Oversee all casework and administrative functions, ensuring high standards of performance and quality.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with employees, families, multi-disciplinary teams, and commissioning bodies.
- Manage operational resources, including duty rotas, service budgets, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Uphold professional ethics, promote safe working practices, and ensure medication management aligns with policies.
- Participate in on-call duties to provide support outside of standard hours.
Who We're Looking For:
- Significant operational experience in children’s services, particularly within family assessment or social care environments.
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) or qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- In-depth knowledge of child protection, family support services, and relevant legislation and standards.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
