Family Contact Worker

Vetro Social Care is recruiting Family Contact Support workers for a Family Contact Centre. You will be working 2:1 with other staff members with the Family in the Support Centre 

Overview: 

• Title: Family Support Worker 

• Pay: £13.68 - £28.40  inclusive of holiday pay

• Location -  Newport

• Time: Various - Short shifts 

• You must have a Driving Licence

What you’ll be doing as a Family Worker:

• To have contact with Children and Families in a Contact Centre

• To protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare

• To provide emotional and practical support to the young people and their Families.

What you’ll need to be a successful Family Support Worker

• A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families

• Empathetic, caring and resilient nature

• At least 6 months of experience working with families or within a similar Social Care setting

• Valid UK Driving Licence

• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one

• The right to work in the UK
