Job Description:
Are you a compassionate Healthcare Assistant with experience in caring for individuals with dementia and other health conditions? Our client, a leading specialist provider in social care, is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join their team in Cardiff. This role offers flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments while making a meaningful difference in residents' lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support to residents with dementia and other health conditions
- Assisting with manual handling and the use of handling equipment
- Implementing care and treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Offering companionship and emotional support to residents
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare or social care settings
- Experience with manual handling equipment in a live environment (training provided)
- A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for elderly residents
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to deliver holistic and therapeutic care
