Job Description:
Are you a compassionate Healthcare Assistant with experience in caring for individuals with Dementia and other health conditions? A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join their team in Aberdare. This role offers flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, allowing you to balance work and personal life while making a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support to residents
- Using manual handling equipment safely and effectively
- Implementing care and treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Offering companionship and emotional support to residents
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare or social care
- Experience with manual handling equipment in a live environment (training provided)
- Strong desire to improve the quality of life for elderly residents, including those with Dementia
- Right to work in the UK
